The Joseph and Gwendolyn Straus Rabbinical Seminary has a distinguished record of preparing students to serve in some of the most prestigious pulpits, schools and university campuses around the world. Under the direction of Rosh Kollel, Rabbi Yehoshua Reich, our rabbinical students spend four years engaged in intensive study.
Upon completion of their studies students are prepared for the prestigious Smicha tests of the Chief Rabbinate of Israel as well as Smicha from the Joseph and Gwendolyn Straus Rabbinical Seminary and Rav Zalman Nechemia Goldberg.
Married rabbinical students receive generous stipends as well as highly subsidized housing in the Israel Henry Beren Residence Complex. Living on campus allows students and their families to enjoy the warm community atmosphere of the Kollel and the yeshiva, including shared meals, women's Shiurim, Chagigas, Tiyulim and other community events.
Potential students should be in touch with our office to receive an application.
